Welcome to your one stop shop for all Concert 2025 information

Designed for busy parents who get far too many emails!

The juggle is real! We know life is busy, so we've made it easy for you.

This website has all the concert information in one place. On this home page, you'll find details relevant to everyone, including links to book tickets, purchase photos and videos, and more. We have created individual pages for each age group, with information relevant to classes in that age group, so you can quickly find the details that matter most to you and your child.

This is a live site, meaning it will be updated as new information becomes available.

You can also find a QR code for this site on the pegboard at the studio (bookmark it on your device) and a printed QR code sent home with each performer (perfect for the fridge).

Enjoy!

We’re putting together an exciting opening video for our mid-year concert and would love your dancer to be part of it!

Filming will take place on Saturday, May 31st from 3:30–4:30pm, and dancers of all ages are welcome.

Please complete the permission form below if your dancer would like to participate!

⭐️ Preliminary concert information ⭐️

When is the concert?

Saturday 5th July. (Times TBA, but approx. 6pm finish)

Where is the concert?

The Canberra Theatre - Canberra Theatre Centre

What additional fees will I have to pay?

A $45 performance fee per performing student, which is put towards your child’s costume, insurance, and licensing for the performance. There is an additional $15 payable for each additional performing class your child is enrolled in.

How can I pay the performance and costume fee?

The performance fee will be added to your online account in Week 5 of Term 2. You can then pay via the parent portal.

Do I have to buy tickets if I want to see the show?

Yes! Tickets will be available exclusively through the Canberra Theatre Centre website. They go on sale in Week 5 of Term 2. Prices TBA. All ticket sales will incur a booking fee (imposed and collected by Canberra Theatre Centre, not us!).

Will the show be professionally filmed and photographed?

Yes! Digital photos and a video will be available to purchase and download. We have four pricing options available:

$119 - full video download and unlimited photos

$89 - full video download and one set of class photos

$49 - one set of class photos

$45 - full video download

Will I have to sew/construct costumes?

Nope! We will source and create all costumes. However, dancers may be asked to provide some basic items (e.g. black leggings, white singlet).

What about hair and makeup?

The required hairstyles will be simple; makeup is minimal and OPTIONAL.

Which classes are participating?

None of our Minis classes will perform (they have their very own concert towards the end of the year)

Also NOT participating are

Beginner Acrodance

Adults Zumba

(as these are technique/fitness based classes)

All other classes will prepare a routine to perform in the concert.

My dancer doesn’t want to perform, can they still attend class in Term 2?

Yes! Non-performing students are welcome. The focus of Term 2 is concert preparation, but non-performing students can learn the routine for fun alongside the rest of their class.

What if my dancer changes their mind about performing after the term starts?

Students must opt-in and commit to the concert by the end of Week 2. After this, we cannot accommodate new performers as they won’t have been allocated a costume.

Can my child change or add classes in Term 2?

Yes, provided it's before the end of Week 2.

Mini's Concert (4 - 5 yrs) is on Sunday 14th December

A performance experience designed just for our Mini's. Age appropriate, short in-house concert on our very own stage at the hall!
